The colleges, departments and programmes of Chrisland University will be established in four phases covering a period of 20 years. All phases will be for a period of 5 years. The phases will be characterised by the establishment of new colleges, departments, and programmes at the undergraduate and /or postgraduate levels.

PHASE I (YEAR 1 – YEAR 5)

The University has taken off with two colleges, namely: College of Management and Social Sciences and College of Natural and Applied Sciences with 8 departments and 15 undergraduate programmes. In addition a General Studies and Entrepreneurship Development Unit has also been established. The unit will serve all students of the university by coordinating the teaching of all general studies courses as well as anchor entrepreneurial skill development. At the end of phase 1, the Chrisland University will have a General Studies and Entrepreneurial Unit, 2 colleges, 9 departments and 16 undergraduate programmes as follows:

College of Management and Social Sciences (4 Years)

(I) B.Sc. Accounting
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics one science subject & any other one relevant subject in not more than two sittings.
(II) B.Sc. Banking & Finance/ B.Sc. Business Administration
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics one science subject plus any one from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government , Geography & Statistics in not more than two sittings.
(III) B.Sc. Economics
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics one Social/Art subject plus any one from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government , Geography & Statistics in not more than two sittings.
(IV) B.Sc. Political Science
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government or History and any other two subjects in Arts or Social Sciences in not more than two sittings.
(V) B.Sc. Psychology
Five SSCE credit passes including English, Mathematics and Economics in not more than two sittings.
(VI) B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies
Five SSCE credit passes including English, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Arts/Social Science Subjects in not more than two sittings.
(VII) B.Sc. Mass Communication
Five SSCE credit passes include English Language, Mathematics, Literature-in-English and two other subjects in Arts, Social Sciences, Business and General subjects in not more than two sittings.
(VIII) B.Sc. International Relations
Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government or History and any other two subjects in Arts or Social Sciences in not more than two sittings.
 

College of Natural and Applied Sciences (4 YEARS) 

(I)B.Sc. Biology/ B.Sc. Microbiology
Five SSCE passes including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.
(II)B.Sc. Chemistry/ B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry/ B.Sc. Biochemistry
Five SSCE passes including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.
(III)B.Sc. Computer Science
Five SSCE passes including English, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects in not more than two sittings.
(IV)B.Sc. Mathematics
Five SSCE passes including English, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry in not more than two sittings.
(V)B.Sc. Physics
Five SSCE passes including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in not more than two sittings.

The full academic structure of the Chrisland University will be attained 20 years after establishment and at full development the university will have a General Studies and Entrepreneurship Development Unit, a School of Postgraduate Studies, 6 colleges, 45 departments and 169 academic programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
