5. SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES

Chrisland University Operates a Salary Structure and Condition of Service comparable to what obtains in the Nigerian University System.

6. REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC POSITIONS

Senior Lecturer

Interested applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), with at least six (6) years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience.

Candidates must show evidence of a minimum of fifteen (15) Scholarly Publications in peer- reviewed internationally rated journals/outlets and an identifiable contribution to knowledge in the field of specialization. The applicant must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership in teaching and research.

To be appointable, the ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate evidence of Academic leadership, ability to supervise Post Graduate students in the field, capacity to develop the field/discipline in the department, and skills for collaborative and multidisciplinary research.

Lecturer I

Interested applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), with at least three (3) years of post-Ph.D. experience.

To be appointable, candidates must show evidence of a minimum of ten (10) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated reputable journals/outlets and must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership.

Lecturer II

Interested applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Teaching and research experience at the University level will be an added advantage.

To be appointable, candidates must show evidence of a minimum of five (5) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated reputable journals/outlets and must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership.

Lecturer I (COBAMS AND FACULTY OF NURSING)

Interested applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree and candidates must have health industry experience of not less than ten (10) years in Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy or Nursing.

Lecturer II (COBAMS AND FACULTY OF NURSING)

Candidates applying for the position of Lecturer II in Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy or Nursing must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree from a recognized university, as well as relevant professional certification and a valid license. Applicants are also expected to have completed their NYSC.

Assistant Lecturer (COBAMS)

Interested applicants must possess a first degree in the relevant field, along with professional certification and a valid license. Applicants are also expected to have completed their NYSC.

NON-ACADEMIC POSITIONS

System Analyst II

Applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from a recognized University. Possession of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of cognate experience in systems analysis or information technology operations. Relevant experience in requirements gathering, systems design, and documentation is required.

System Programmer II

Applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized University. Relevant professional certifications will be considered an added advantage.

Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in system-level programming or IT infrastructure support. Practical experience with operating systems such as Linux and Windows Server is required.

Software Engineer II

Applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognized University. Possession of a Master’s Degree or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Candidates must have a minimum of two to four years of experience in software development, with proven ability in designing, building, and maintaining software applications.

Accountant I

To be appointable, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (B.Sc.) with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university an NYSC certificate, and at least three (3) years of post-qualification. A Master’s degree or a professional certification from ICAN, ANAN, ACCA is an added advantage,

Accountant II

To be appointable, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (B.Sc.) with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university, as well as an NYSC certificate.

Finance Assistant

To be appointable, applicants must possess National Diploma (ND) in Accounting/Accountancy with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized Polytechnic. Foundation Level or AAT/ATS certificate from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)or its equivalent  may also be considered.

Confidential Secretary I

To be appointed, applicants must possess either a Bachelor’s degree in secretarial studies with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University or an HND in Secretarial Administration/Office Technology and Management (OTM) with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized polytechnic, plus an NYSC certificate and three (3) years of post-qualification experience and proficiency in computer application. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Clinical Instructors (Faculty of Nursing)

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BN.Sc.) degree from a recognized institution. Possession of a Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field will be an added advantage. Candidates must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and hold a valid practicing license.

Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification clinical experience, preferably in a reputable healthcare institution. Evidence of clinical competence, teaching ability, and strong interpersonal skills is required.
