Chrisland University Welcomes New Ogun NDLEA Commandant, Rabe …pledges partnership to combat drug abuse

During the courtesy visit, the Vice-Chancellor and the Commandant engaged in a fruitful discussion on strategies to combat drug trafficking, abuse, and misuse. They emphasized the need for intelligence sharing and joint operations to identify and apprehend drug abusers, thereby preventing the influx of illicit drugs into the University and its environs.

Chrisland University 3rd Inaugural Lecture

 

Chrisland University will hold her 3rd Inaugural lecture on the 10th of July 2025.
The Lecture which is titled "A Journey into the Chemistry of WASTE, WEALTH and HEALTH", will be delivered by Prof. Raphael Chinyelum Mordi, a Professor of Chemistry, and the Dean of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.

A Day of Spiritual Renewal at Chrisland University Chapel

Sunday, June 22nd marked a profound demonstration of faith and divine grace at the Chrisland University Chapel, as approximately 15 students were formally admitted into the Church through the rite of Confirmation. The sacred ceremony, led by the Lord Bishop of the Egba Anglican Diocese, the Rt. Rev’d Emmanuel Oludaisi Adekunle, featured the traditional laying-on-of-hands.

Chrisland University VC Pays Courtesy Visit To Ogun State Deputy Governor

Professor Oyedunni Sola Arulogun, Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, has paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele. The meeting which took place at the Deputy Governors office, Oke- Mosan Abeokuta, focused on strengthening the collaboration between the university and the state government to enhance educational development in Ogun State.

Chrisland University Students Shine at OOPL Youth Development Conference

The moral and academic conduct of the students of Chrisland University Abeokuta attracted high commendations from stakeholders at the just concluded 2025 Youth Development Conference of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

Chrisland University, through its Counselling and Psychological Services (CCAPS)  in collaboration with the Student Affair Unit, has organised the maiden edition of a special programme for male students titled “Building Responsible Men: Making Healthy Choices in the Hostel Environment.”

Association Of Nigerian Authors Pays Courtesy Visit To Chrisland University

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA)  Ogun State Chapter has paid a courtesy visit to Chrisland University, Abeokuta, in a move aimed at strengthening literary collaboration and promoting creative writing among students.

The delegation which was led by the leadership of  High Chief Abiodun Oladimeji Lasile the Oruntan of Owu Kingdom and members of his executives, was warmly received by the University Management at the Vice Chancellor’s Chamber. The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore areas of partnership, particularly in literary development, mentorship, research, and cultural engagement.

The 11th Matriculation Ceremony of Chrisland University marked a significant milestone in the institution’s academic journey as it formally admitted a new cohort of students into its various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
