CHRISLAND UNIVERSITY RECEIVES NDPC CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
It was a moment of celebration at Chrisland University as members of the Management team gathered to witness the official presentation of the Certificate of Registration by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), following the University’s successful certification in data protection compliance.
The presentation marks a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance.
It would be recalled that the NDPC recently declared Chrisland University compliant after the successful completion of a rigorous assessment process, which involved the evaluation of the University’s data protection policies, procedures, systems, and operational protocols in line with the provisions of the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
Receiving the certificate on behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oyedunni Sola Arulogun, expressed appreciation to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission for the recognition and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to sustaining global best practices in data management and protection.
The official certificate of registration was received in the presence of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Farombi, alongside other members of the University Management team.
This achievement further demonstrates Chrisland University’s dedication to institutional excellence, accountability, and the protection of personal data within its academic and administrative operations.
The University remains committed to maintaining compliance standards while continually strengthening its systems to ensure a secure and trusted environment for students, staff, partners, and stakeholders.
