Mass Communication at Chrisland University is a programme that allows each student adequate exposure to writing and print journalism skills. In addition, they are given the opportunity for in-depth orientation in elective options in Broadcast, Advertising, and Public Relations.

Admission Requirements

Candidates must have obtained five credit passes at one sitting and six credit passes at two sittings at the ‘O’ Level/Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE, NECO, etc.). Such credits must include English Language, Literature in English, and Mathematics.

UTME Requirements
Candidates must take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations [UTME], English Language, Literature in English, and any other two subjects from the Social Sciences, Sciences, and the Arts.

Direct Entry
In addition to the above stated ‘O’ level subjects, ONLY candidates who possess a National Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Chrisland Diploma in Mass Communication, are considered for admission. Such Diploma must be with a minimum of Lower Credit.

OR

Two “A” level passes in relevant subjects including English Literature.
